Tatianna’s paintings are about the rhythm and soul of the landscape. It is an exploration of shape, contour, line and texture, the very basics of art and imagery. The spirit of her subject comes with her into the studio and is translated onto the canvas. Studio viewing by appointment only.
Built in 1937 as Salmon Arm's first post office, the gallery has been a public library, and since 1994, the Arts Centre permanent home for visual art exhibitions increasingly known throughout Western Canada. The Palladian windows and original maple hardwood floors create a stunning atmosphere in which to hold exhibitions and community events. Tues to Sat 10 am - 4 pm.
Located along the Trans Canada Highway in Sorrento, this little gallery focuses on local artists. It showcases the original paintings of the Shuswap Lake and the Sorrento Seven Artists.
Combines a working artist studio where you can watch the artist create masterpieces on-site; a workshop area where various acrylic techniques are taught; and a fine art gallery offering original paintings and giclee reproductions in unique and varied styles. Lectures on acrylic products and demonstrations on acrylic techniques can be booked. Open daily.
