Each year for three days in May, Falkland residents practice their Yah-Hoos and host a pro rodeo. In addition to regular rodeo events, the town has a parade and a variety of family fun. A real crowd pleaser is cowboy poker, bull style, which takes place each day.

Located in the Marine Park in Salmon Arm, this festival offers both paddlers and observers a day of fun on the Shuswap. The races feature 16 teams consisting of mixed or all women teams. There is a variety of entertainment provided during the day for children and families as well.

The High Country Pottery Show and Sale takes place every summer in Sorrento over the August long weekend. Held at the Sorrento Memorial Hall, the two-day event features invited artists showcasing some of BC's finest pottery - from high fired functional pottery to raku, sculpture, porcelain and crystalline glazed pieces. Some iron work, weavings, handmade paper, jewellery and glass work are also available. Admission is free.

This three day old-time fair is held the second weekend in September each year, and draws patrons from all over BC. Events include livestock exhibits, heavy and miniature horse shows, a midway, live entertainment, indoor arts, displays, demonstrations and old-time trades. The fair grounds are located in downtown Salmon Arm, close to hotels and restaurants.

The annual Okanagan Fall Wine Festival takes place over a 10-day period leading up to the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, early in October. This event has been listed on the American Business Associaton's Top 100 Events in North America for several years. The Festival has over 100 events that take place throughout the Okanagan.

This annual Christmas celebration begins on Friday with Christmas themed displays and a Santa contest in the afternoon followed by a parade, light-up and candle-lit walk to the Winter Wonderland. While at the Winter Wonderland, attendees can enjoy complimentary soup, hotdogs, hot cocoa, musical entertainment, horse-drawn sleigh rides and Christmas Play. On Saturday children can shop at Santa’s Workshop and get a picture with Santa at the Enderby Chamber. There is also a a bake sale at the Enderby Museum.
